Transfer pictures onto your computer in two easy steps
Importing a picture from a digital camera onto a personal computer used to require special software and enough time to work through a series of steps. With Windows Image Acquisition in Windows Me, acquiring images from cameras and scanners is complete in two steps without any extra software.
With Windows Image Acquisition, you can:
- Use a wizard to preview images directly from your camera before importing them to your computer. This way, you select only the images you want to save to your hard drive PC.
- Import pictures from your camera and scanner onto your personal computer in two simple steps.
- Zoom in and out of picture details, view a picture in a larger window, rotate a picture, and even print it. Save imported images to the My Pictures folder by default, and auto-organize them into folders. The images in these folders can be viewed at full size through a slide show.
- Import pictures from a digital camera or scanner directly into applications such as word processors and e-mail, without having to save the images to your hard drive.
